The Ritchey WCS VentureMax XL Handlebar takes the proven shape of the VentureMax and stretches it out to a generous 52 cm width, creating a wide gravel and adventure bar for riders looking for extra leverage, stability and cockpit space.

Like the rest of the VentureMax family, the XL isn't simply a conventional road bar with the drops pushed outward. Ritchey shaped it specifically around the changing hand positions and terrain encountered on gravel rides, bikepacking trips and long mixed-surface days.

The 24° flare provides a wider, more confident position in the drops without making the brake hoods excessively wide. A shallow 102 mm drop makes those drops easier to reach and encourages riders to actually use them when the terrain gets rough.

Then there's the unmistakable Bio-Bend.

Ritchey's ergonomic shaping in the lower portion of the drops creates an additional hand position that distinguishes the VentureMax from more traditional drop bars. Combined with a slight backsweep across the tops, it gives your hands somewhere different to settle as the hours add up.

The XL also incorporates a flattened aero-shaped top section, providing another comfortable position for long stretches of gravel and pavement.

Constructed from triple-butted 7050 aluminum and carrying Ritchey's WCS designation, the VentureMax XL balances its substantial width with a lightweight, performance-oriented construction.

For big riders, riders who simply prefer a broad cockpit, or anyone building a drop-bar bike intended to spend plenty of time away from smooth pavement, the VentureMax XL offers a distinctive combination of control and all-day comfort.
