Mandatory Ride Waiver

For liability purposes, we require that anyone attending our weekly group rides sign the Dismount Bike Shop Group Ride Liability Waiver.

Please note that for the safety of all riders helmets and lights are mandatory.

Routes

Our Wednesday night routes typically include a mix of gravel, packed dirt, and pavement.

Our Saturday night MTB rides are primarily dirt. Route & difficulty will change weekly!

FAQ

Do I have to sign the waiver before coming on a ride?

Yes, even if you have been on rides with us in the past, all group ride participants must sign our waiver. By signing the waiver, you help create a supportive environment where we can all enjoy cycling with peace of mind, knowing that we have taken the necessary precautions!

How long are the rides?

Typically the rides are between 20-25Km over the course of around 2 hours.

What is the pace of the group usually like?

These rides are social and relaxed, which means there are usually pit stops and chatting along the way. Overall we keep things at a comfortable and steady pace! Absolutely no one gets left behind.

What kind of bike should I bring?

On average, we recommend any bike with 30mm tires or wider but it is dependant on the route each week! Sometimes we do all paved rides where any width of tire would do well but it is best to check on the route posted each week.

Is there anything that I should bring with me on the rides?

A helmet, water bottle, front and rear bike lights are all the things that most folks should bring with them on our rides. Aside from that, a positive attitude and good vibes!
