Muc-Off Dark Energy Chain Wax is a high performance dropper wax lube designed for riders who want a cleaner, quieter, and more efficient drivetrain. Muc-Off developed it in house after four years of testing across more than 90 formulations, with over 8,500 hours of lab and independent machine testing plus more than 100,000 km of real world riding by their test team and pro riders.

The formula uses a blend of highly refined waxes, including a plant derived, inherently biodegradable wax, to form a durable dry film barrier on the chain. It is made for dry, dusty, and damp conditions, helping repel dirt and grime while reducing friction, drivetrain noise, and component wear. Dark Energy is also PFAS and PTFE free, easy to apply, and suitable for road, gravel, and mountain bike drivetrains.
