The Kona Dew is a lightweight, easygoing urban bike built to get more people riding. Kona positions it as the accessible all rounder in the Dew family, using a butted 6061 aluminum frame to keep the bike light and affordable while still delivering dependable everyday performance. It is designed for daily commutes, casual city riding, and weekend spins, with a stable ride feel and practical touches like a bell and kickstand included from the start.

This build uses a simple Shimano ESSA 1x8 drivetrain with a wide 11 to 45T cassette, Tektro mechanical disc brakes, and WTB Groov-E 29 x 2.0 inch tires for comfort and confidence on rough pavement, bike paths, and urban shortcuts. The aluminum fork, upright cockpit, and high volume tires give the Dew a comfortable and approachable ride for everyday transportation.
