Description |

The Surly Sorceress Deore 12 is a steel trail hardtail built for singletrack, rowdy trails, and sweet jumps. Surly designs it around a 140 mm suspension fork and modern trail geometry, with a long front center, steep seat tube angle, and slack head tube angle for playful handling, stable footing, and efficient climbing. Surly also emphasizes inclusive standover clearance and maximized dropper post fit to reduce saddle interference and open the bike up to a wider range of riders.

Its Natch Chromoly tubing is tuned specifically for the Sorceress, and the frame uses Surly’s DUH dropout system, which supports SRAM UDH, Full-Mount, and single-speed drivetrain setups. This complete build comes with a Shimano Deore 12-speed drivetrain, Shimano MT420 4-piston brakes, an SR Suntour Zeron36 Boost EQ fork, and Teravail Kessel tires, making it a capable steel hardtail for technical trail riding.
