Description |
Fast, floaty, and full of attitude — the Surly Knard Tire is built to roll over whatever lies ahead. Whether you're riding rigid MTB trails, tackling chunky gravel, or heading off-grid on a loaded bikepacking rig, the Knard delivers volume, speed, and control in a range of sizes that suit your build.
Available in 26", 27.5", and 29" formats — and in widths from 41mm to full 3.0” plus — the Knard features Surly’s signature tight, low-profile tread, offering minimal rolling resistance while still hooking up on loose or mixed surfaces. Its large volume smooths out chatter, while the grippy rubber and classic Surly durability make it a favourite for drop-bar dirt rigs, steel hardtails, and Krampus-style explorers alike.
This is the tire that helped kick off the 29+ movement. Now it’s here for whatever ride you dream up.
