Usage Tips & Compatibility |
Compatibility:
- Check your frame’s bottom bracket shell width — usually marked on the frame (68 mm or 73 mm).
- Match the spindle length (113 mm or 118 mm) to your crank’s chainline requirement.
- The 68/E/73 × 113 mm version works with E-type front derailleurs and frames using 68 mm or 73 mm shells.
- The 68 × 118 mm and 73 × 118 mm options are ideal when extra clearance is needed or when specified by your crank manufacturer.
Installation Tip: Use a proper bottom bracket tool and torque wrench to ensure correct fit. Apply grease to the threads to prevent seizing.
Maintenance: The sealed cartridge design requires minimal upkeep. Clean the shell area during crank service for long-term reliability.
