The legendary Fargo just got bigger.

The Salsa Fargo 32 Steel Frameset takes the go-anywhere versatility of Salsa's original drop-bar mountain bike and builds it around massive 32-inch wheels. The result is an adventure platform with exceptional rollover, traction and stability that's made for covering serious ground across gravel roads, doubletrack, singletrack and everything in between.

At the heart of the Fargo 32 is Salsa's triple-butted chromoly steel frame, offering the durability and dependable ride quality that make steel such a natural choice for long-distance adventure riding. Up front, a lightweight carbon fibre fork helps balance the ride while providing generous cargo capacity for loaded trips.

But the 32-inch wheels are the real story.

Their larger diameter helps the Fargo carry momentum over rough terrain, smooth out obstacles and maintain traction when surfaces get loose. Paired with clearance for 32 × 2.4" tires, they give the bike a planted, confidence-inspiring feel that's especially appealing for long-distance bikepacking and mixed-terrain exploration.

Salsa hasn't forgotten versatility, either. The Fargo 32 uses the brand's Alternator 1.0 UDH Flat Mount dropout system, opening the door to different drivetrain configurations, adjustable rear-centre options and even single-speed setups with alternate plates. It's also belt-drive compatible and designed around a straightforward 73 mm threaded bottom bracket.

Cargo capacity is everywhere. Frame bottle and accessory mounts, fork Three-Pack mounts and rear rack compatibility make it easy to configure the Fargo for anything from a fast overnight to a month-long trip.

And while the Fargo has always been synonymous with drop bars, Salsa's Multi-Fit geometry makes flat-bar builds possible too. Add compatibility with an 80 mm suspension fork and dropper post, and you've got an unusually adaptable platform for creating a bike that's entirely your own.
