40 percent cork
The BioKork version of our successful GP series combines ergonomics, sustainability and a comfortable feel consisting of 40% cork material. The material comes from organic farming in Portugal and meets strict ecological guidelines. In the inner support, 20 percent of the plastic is replaced by grass fibres.

The ergonomic concept
Numb fingers, painful hands, or forearm discomfort—common problems that many riders experience. Ergon grips solve these issues and correct the root of the problems.

Improved Pressure Distribution
The pressure point area where the small finger meets the palm often leads to a cross-compression of the Ulnar Nerve. Nerve damage becomes apparent in form of numbness in the little finger and the outer area of the ring finger. In the case of prolonged riding, this can also lead to a limited movement of the entire hand. The answer is precise support in the area of the ball of the thumb and to distribute hand pressure wide on the handlebar.

Hand Position Adjustments
Substantial bending of the wrist can cause the nerves to become pinched or inflamed, eventually leading to Carpal Tunnel Syndrome. Carpal Tunnel Syndrome is characterized by a burning pain in the hand or forearm. It can also cause sensory disturbances. The corrected hand position relieves pressure on the nerve and eliminates pain and discomfort. Preventing possible injuries to the wrist.

Two sizes – for individualized control
In order to help you maintain perfect control over your bike, your hands should not completely envelop the grip, which is why Ergon offers many grips in two size diameters – Small and Large. The difference refers to the grip width (hand size), meaning a larger hand will have a more positive fit on a thicker grip, while a smaller hand is better fit to a smaller grip. For hand/glove sizes 6.5 to 8.5 we recommend Small, for 8.5 to 10.5 Large usually is better.
