Sales & Customer Service
Dismount is searching for passionate folks to join our Sales and Customer Service team. We want folks who love a work hard/play hard attitude and are passionate about cycling and the outdoors. We care deeply about customer service and want to share space with folks who care about the details. As our bike, camping and outdoor program grows, we want folks who are eager to learn and can bring a high level of professionalism and consistency day in day out.

Our aim is to provide an excellent experience, service and support for our customers. We aim to be approachable, friendly and knowledgeable about what we offer and we want to set our customers up with the tools to experience and enjoy your adventures to the fullest. That can be rolling to the park as a family or a self supported month long trek through the wilderness.
The Role:
As part of our sales and customer service team, you’ll be the main point of contact for anyone entering the store. You’ll need to be the expert that can connect with customers and guide them through their shopping experience or performing triage and helping connect them with the right department or person in a timely manner. Sales experience is an asset.
Main duties include but are not limited to:

Provide high quality service with keen attention to detail.

Greet and help customers with their needs.

Merchandising in store and window displays

Answering the phone and potentially responding to emails

Checking customers in for service appointments

Assisting with cleaning, as well as helping with cardboard/garbage/recycling

Operate our point-of-sale system to cash out customers

Keep stock levels always topped up.

Assisting with cleaning, as well as helping with cardboard/recycling.

Assisting with putting away newly received product

Sales - Use your knowledge to work with customers to fit the best product to their needs

Working towards achieving individual and shop sales goals
You:

Are constantly on the lookout for ways our shop can run more efficiently.

Are able to use a computer. Experience with Lightspeed is a bonus.
