Its forged clamps, integrally machined head and elliptically extruded 7000-series aluminum body are engineered for strength, low weight and easy adjustment. The tube and head are machined as one piece rather than pressed or bonded together.

A 41mm seat rail grip helps prevent rail bending from impact loads, while infinite tilt adjustment from -5° to +29° makes it easy to dial in saddle position. Low-profile clamps keep the hardware between the saddle rails, and all parts remain captive during installation. Supplied with a 7x7 saddle clampset and made in Georgia, USA.

Features |

Setback version of the Thomson Elite Seatpost

Forged clamps

Integrally machined head

Elliptically extruded 7000-series aluminum body

Tube and head integrally machined from one piece

Natural ellipse bore for an optimized strength-to-weight ratio

41mm seat rail grip length

Bending fuse design intended to prevent catastrophic failure

Clamp, head and upper tube withstand up to 350 ft-lb of torque

Tube begins to yield and bend at the seat tube clamp at approximately 250 ft-lb of torque

Infinite saddle tilt adjustment from -5° to +29°

Low-profile clamps with swivel nuts positioned between the saddle rails

Captive parts allow saddle attachment without disassembling the seatpost

Includes 7x7 saddle clampset

Over 40% stronger in Thomson ultimate strength testing than the strongest production seatposts Thomson tested

Double the fatigue life of other production seatpost models tested by Thomson

Certified to EN 14766:2006 MTB and DIN CERTCO:2006 MTB

Made in Georgia, USA

Specs |

Product

Thomson Elite Seatpost Setback

Material

7000-Series Aluminum

Body Construction

Elliptically extruded

Head Construction

Integrally machined with tube from one piece

Clamps

Forged

Saddle Clamp

7x7 clampset included

Seat Rail Grip Length

41 mm / 1.614"

Tilt Adjustment

-5° to +29°, infinitely adjustable

Clamp, Head &
